Riveredge Nature Center

Newburg, Wisconsin - 2003

The Riveredge nature Center master plans includes additions to the existing facilities.  A solar Plaza welcomes visitors and orient them to Nature’s systems.  From the solar plaza, visitors can choose several paths - each one demonstrating a vital, living history - from energy flow, to matter cycling and recycling, to air and water movement, to Wisconsin gardening.  A variety of exhibits engage visitors in hands-on and skill-building activities.  Visitors can investigate Earth’s complex systems at Living Green Machine or Silo system; view life in new and different ways at Lenses of Life or Patterns of Nature; explore lifestyles at Bios; and throughout learn how they can adjust to living well.

In addition to many  educational experiences, visitors will find comfort relaxing in the gardens, enjoying Cafe snacks or buying gifts at the Store.
